Sister had jello for the first time yesterday after she pitched a FIT seeing brother eat it. She didn't even attempt to use her spoon. She just picked up the whole bowl and ate every single bite!

Singles Day- Savannah, Georgia Style!

I am linking up with Kelly's Korner today and posting about a 'single' I know! Robert (or we like to call him Rob... or Bob!) is a great guy who is 30 years old. He is a hardworking, down to earth, fun guy who loves life. He sells commercial insurance for a living and always has a big bear hug waiting when needed! He loves mexican food on Wednesday nights! He likes going out, but is also cool with staying home having a cookout! He loves my kids and my kids love him. He enjoys going to the gym, running, and he is a die hard Georgia Tech fan! Rob and my husband went to high school together and have grown up together. He loves coming over to just hang out and have a beer. He loves spending the summer out on the water skiing, tubing, boating, fishing, and hanging out at the beach. Rob is like a brother to me and I want him to find a geniune good girl to be in his life! We always have fun whenever we are together! We have the best group of friends, but we do have room for one more to fill Rob's empty arms :)

Monday... BLAH!

We had a showing for the house scheduled that ended up falling through and they re-scheduled for the end of the week. They didn't tell us this until 20 minutes AFTER they were supposed to show up! Would have been nice to know earlier! SO frustrating with dragging two kids AND two dogs out the door while keeping the house clean and in order then they don't even show up! UGH! Frustrating!! Other than that, I was feeling a bit crafty this morning. I whipped up a quick Valentine's wreath. You can't really see it from the picture, but there are little red hears all over the 'U' ....  I like it but I think it needs something on the sides... but I don't want it to be too busy. Who knows! I will sleep on it a few nights to decide if I am gonna add more too it or not. I have really been trying to 'decorate' for every holiday now that Holdyn is old enough. I want him to enjoy every holiday and I want to decorate in some form or fashion even if it's something as small as a wreath.

 And have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE this picture?! I don't know why, but it is one of my favorites right now. Honey hates having his picture taken. We have our first real 'out of studio and real photographer' scheduled for Saturday. In honor of our 5th anniversary in November and Hadley's 1st birthday and Holdyn's 4th birthday, we decided it was an appropriate time to get some good pictures other than the normal plain white background. We have hired a photographer and will be having pictures taken in Whitefield Square at the gazebo where we were married. It will be nice to have some great family pictures and honey bun will smile whether he likes it or not!! Love this man sooooo much!! He just better behave on Saturday and pretend to be THRILLED to be there and smile like he has never smiled before. Sometimes he and Holdyn like to compete for the most 'meltdowns' of the day ;) .... I am hoping and wishing for some great pictures... and cooperation from both males in the family. Hadley is all ready with her big smiles : D

Dentistry at it's finest

I walked in the office the other day to find this....

Holdyn was 'drilling' Hadley's teeth. Obviously the drilling didn't fix the problem because he had to resort to more extreme measures....

He decided the only option was to 'pull' the tooth out with his pliers... his plastic pliers!

Uncle Brent would be proud. We now might have a future firefighter/dentist. What a unique combination... but he is a very unique child! Hadley was a very cooperative patient!

Stacking...

Seems to be the game of the day today... I walk in the kitchen and the lil man has 2 litter cokes on top of paper towels and has plates and bowls stacked on cups.... until sister caught wind of the fun... then they all came crashing to the ground!

On another note... I must have a label on my forehead that says 'Queen of lost dogs'. I swear I have found 5 missing dogs in the past few months (Maybe that's what living on a busy road will do to you?!) Robbie always frowns upon my 'helping find the owner' determination, but I have always told him that if his sweet pride and joy, Baily, ever went missing, he would want someone to do the same for him! Thank goodness Robbie was not home when I found this sweet little guy (or big guy I should say!) I had my neighbor go get a phone and call the # on the tag so I didn't have to drag him in my house... thinking the owner would be out looking for him and could immediately come get him. He is an expensive dog and he was VERY trained and had a massive collar and box on his neck so he obviously got out from somewhere and someone would be looking for him. No one answered the # so I kindly dragged this sweet thing inside. Let's just said he attempted to make himself right at home! I FINALLY got a hold of the owner (after I called 10 billion times..). I stumble upon the owners home with an exhausted looking grandmother at the end of the long gated drive way saying she had been looking for him all afternoon. She just moved here to take care of her FIVE grandchildren (ranging from 19 to 5). The 5 year old was flying across the yard on his 4 wheeler... about made my heart stop! The mother I had spoken to earlier on the phone was so excited to hear we lived so close to her and stated how she wants to get our boys together to play. After seeing the out of controlness (is that even a word?!) that made my knees shake just dropping the dog off, we might be 2nd thinking that fun playdate! The dogs name was 'SamBo' but Holdyn walked around ALLL afternoon calling him COMBO. He had me laughing! You should have seen me riding down the rode with this huge thing in my front seat.

Speaking of dogs, Hyres new 'bed warmer' came in the mail today. It's for his new outdoor house that Robbie just built so he will be warm on cold nights. Can we say spoiled?! It's like a heating blanket for adults! I need to finish painting the dog house and add on some extra special touches then I will get some pictures up of the new dog house! I will hopefully have some time to work on that now that Holdyn is back in school.

Sweet Brother and Sister!!

Holdyn's Christmas vacation comes to an end tomorrow as he heads back to school. I don't know who is more excited!! He is thrilled to go back. I know he is missing that structure and routine and playing fireman with his best friend. He also told me he was missing his teachers and excited to get back to see them! I will be excited to finally get some errands done and some stuff around the house without the extra 'help'! January 18th we will be filling out the paperwork to sign baby sister up to start going to brother's school in September. Where in the world has the time gone?! She is growing up way too fast but she is the funniest and happiest little thing! Her favorite words right now are DaDa and Bubba!!

Never knowing what each day holds...

So so so sad.... please pray for this family. Hoping to hear good news about the baby boy soon also...
