I am going to be..............

An AUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe Tiffany is going to have a baby?! After she sending my children a slip n slide and commenting how perfect it would be for our long driveway, I knew she was just not cut out to be a mom!! DUH!!! You gotta do that on the grass sweetie!! Holdyn is excited. He suggested a few names 'Tree, Neighborhood, and Hadley'. Thankfully he won't be deciding. I filmed mom and dad and pulled Tiffany and Joe up on skype to tell them to news. I made them shirts and everything. My neighbor had them and brought them over right when I pulled Tiffany up on the computer. Dad knew right away. Mom didn't even read the shirts. We had to tell her. Poor thing has been working in the nursing home too long!! I had Tiffany talk to Holdyn earlier in the day of how we would surprise them so he stood up and SCREAMED "I'm going to be a COUSIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Mom said 'what did he say?!' We were like uhhh mom read their shirts. She was a little slow but finally figured it out! Baby Guarisco is due May 2nd. Mom is going to help for 1 week and I told her I would plan to come at least a week and would try for 2 weeks but I have to arrange my kids schedules while I am gone with Robbie traveling. Tiffany has N.O. clue what is about to happen so I think after 3 weeks of help and training she will hopefully get it on her own! I have sent her all of Holdyn and Hadleys clothes from birth until age 2 and a few baby gear items. I even registered for her because she had no clue what she would need. Poor baby Guarisco... your YaYa will come and save you!

Tiffany said my pictures weren't good enough. I told her to try to get a 4 year old and a 1 year old to cooperate and stand still for a picture! She is in for several surprises!!! It's different being a mommy to a human rather than being a mommy to a cat. Speaking of cats, poor Stanley. I might have to kidnap him and bring him home to Richmond Hill with me. He has no clue how many times is tail is about to be pulled or how many times he will be tried to be picked up and drug around!

P.S. Tiffany likes to be called 'chubby' ;) and the baby is 'rice grain' at the current moment!! Cant wait to find out the sex of the baby and can't wait till May when I can get some cuddles in! It will be my first time leaving my kids for so long to help taking care of someone elses child!!

New Friends

We have been interested in meeting some married friends our age and friends our age with babies. We just met an awesome group of friends (interesting how we met... I won't divulge that since it is a bit odd.. ha!) I met Kaylah who is a mommy of twins and then she introduced us to her friends and husbands. We had a cookout over the weekend and had an awesome time. Kaylah had a doctor appointment last week and I kept the babies for her while she went. If you have kids you know taking them to an appointment is dreadful... especially with 3 month old twins! They are wonderful babies and we had so much fun snuggling and playing! Hadley loved feeding the babies and bringing them toys!!

 Girls at the cookout!!
Sweet Hailey sound asleep... she loves cuddling with me!
Sweet Riley! She loves just hanging out. This is her favorite lounger! They are identical twins, but after being around them a few times, I can now tell them apart ;)
Rachel and I snuggling on some babies after our cookout!

Can you believe....

Can you believe that all these pieces (and there were TONS of them... just ask daddy!) can turn in to....

 THIS!!!!!!
We had to leave our old swing set behind since it was part of the contract to sell the house so we just got their new one all set up! It has a picnic table underneath and both kids love the 3 stories!! Hadley climbs all the way to the top and just squeals in delight!! She has mastered the slide now too!!

Lions, Tigers and Soccer Cleats... Oh My!

After searching several stores to find the right sized shin guards, cleats, and practice socks, I finally found everything we needed. Phew! It's like a cat chasing a mouse! If I knew he needed all of this, I could have been looking all summer. Instead we crammed it all in to find everything in less than a week. Not very smart!  Holdyn was so excited to go to practice tonight and wear all of his new gear. His first game is Thursday. I hope this little team of 6 dream a lot about soccer the next 2 nights in hopes of pulling together on Thursday.

He kept looking at his shin guards and cleats and said over and over 'Mom, do I really get to keep these?!' He was so excited to know he wasn't just borrowing him... he really does get to keep them! He said 'So I can wear my gear to play when my friends come over?!' What ever makes you happy sweet pea!

Where did my little boy go?! This kid is growing by leaps and bounds. I am missing the baby stage, but the older stage has started off fun! I just might enjoy this new phase in our lives.
Ms. THANG was in rare form this evening at practice. She was in a mood. I don't know what her problem was! She was pushing her cup over, pushing Holdyn's drinks over, throwing her bow at me, took off her shoes and threw them on the soccer field, pushed my purse until it fell, etc. I don't know what got in to her. She shrieked in excitement when we pulled up to the field because she remembered going last week and how much fun she had running around and playing. A little boy her age came up to her and tried to hug her tonight and she took both of her hands and pushed him as hard as she could and screamed 'NOOOO!!!'

Those big ole mean molars are still coming in and causing her some pain cause she is shoving her little fingers in the back of her mouth. I can't wait till these things finish coming in!

Trying to keep her off the field is a task. She wants to throw everything out there and wants ANY reason to go walk right up to Holdyn. We might be attending round 2 of PeeWee Soccer when she gets old enough. Question is will she get out of a dress to get out there and play!! Usally every morning when we are getting dressed she will tell me 'DRESSS!!!' I ask is that what she wants to wear today. It is always a 'YES!' With them both in sports and having practice and games on different nights, I see us being busy bees the next several years. I guess Mr. R has always called me 'soccer mom' for a reason! ;)

Here it is.....

And we are in love! This is the first home we designed the floor plan and built. It is perfect for our family and will be making a lot of memories here!
We are loving our new neighbors, the culdesac, the 3 car garage, and the ability of Holdyn being able to go play outside and not worry about him! Baily and Hyres both have adjusted amazingly well to the new home, as well as the kids! Everyone is doing great! You have to wait for inside pictures until we finsih getting everything unpacked and organized!
And for some Sunday morning cuteness for your holiday Labor Day weekend......
She is adorable but is in to E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. these days! I am having to lock all cabinets because she is fast as lightning in undoing all of the organizing I had just finished! She is chewing on her fingers a lot these days because her top 2 molars are coming in and boy are they huge!!! You can ask her if her teeth hurt and she will say Yesssss!! in this high pitced taradactile voice (Just like when she says Nooooo!!), but after a few teething tablets, she is ready and good to go!
