Brrrr!!

It's cold outside!! No, it did not snow in Savannah! Every year the city brings in snow for a 'winter wonderland' downtown. MooMa and Dooda took Holdyn to play in the snow a few weekends ago. He had a blast! Last year he forgot to take gloves but he reminded me several times this year not to forget to pack his gloves! Guess he remembered how cold it was on his little fingers!

A Gooey?!

Whenever I hear a screech or a meltdown from Holdyn's room, I know SOMETHING has broken and he needs help! I had already helped him tape together a broken fireman jacket when I hear another screech. This is a life and death situation in Holdyn's life, you know! I run up the stairs and a part of the fire boat had fallen off and he need help putting it back on. I repaired the captains courters then found this random piece lying on the ground that looked like an emergency light on a pole so I put that on the boat thinking it was some emergency light for them to use. Well boy was I wrong. There was an immediate screech and Holdyn says "But MOMMY that does that go THERE!! That is a GOOEY!!!" I said a Gooey?! What in the world is a Gooey?

He told me I should know that a 'Gooey' goes in the water so the boat knows the right way to go. I finally figured it out and said OHHH!!! It's a Booey!!! He said " Yea mommy, it's a gooey!!" What was I thinking!!
