The adventures of Fire dog

Fire Dog got a special treat and got to go spend the night with MawMaw last night. She also had a 'first' last night, so I guess I need to document that just like the kids baby book :) Baily does think she is a human and one of my children! She got to go and have dinner at Jalapenos last night!! No cerveza for her.

Bay was also a big help addressing Aunties wedding invitations!

On the way home, I kept hearing a dull beeing sound in the backseat. It took me forever to figure out what it was. Eventually I found our HOUSE phone in the car.. in Richmond Hill!! I asked Holdyn how in the world it got in there and he said " Well I didn't want to miss a call mommy!"

Pops birthday

We went out to dinner for Pops birthday. They brought him a big ole piece of cholocate cake and HoHo leaned over and blew out the candle. He thought that was so funny!

They both finished that entire piece of cake!

Summertime...

Jacksonbill

We had a wedding to go to in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL this weekend so we packed up the kiddos and hit the road. Holdyn was very excited to use the map and tell us which way to go. He got upset at one point and was crying "But this is NOT the way to Jacksonbill! You are going the wrong way!"

Brother went to the airport to pick up Auntie so sister got some one on one attention and got to go swimming in the hotel pool!


After the wedding, we decided to take a detour before we headed to the reception. Auntie heard about a firefighter convention with tons of firetrucks and she knew that would be right up her little firemans alley!! Sadly to say, it had just ended that morning. We missed it by a day!

HoHo was pretty upset about not seeing the firetrucks so Auntie sweet talked the chef into a bowl of ice cream for her sad little fireman.

That seemed to hit the spot and put him in a much better mood. He finished every last drop of it!

Holdyn was absoultely thrilled to stay in a hotel. It was sisters first time to have a sleepover in a hotel. The kids had fun snuggling in bed and watching Shrek. We are all glad to be back home in our own beds. It's pretty noisy all 4 of us sleeping in the same room!

Dyno-myte!

Brother is not feeling like dyno-myte today but we spent the morning at the peditrician so we can get everyone well so we can play with auntie next week!

Swim fishy, swim!

We decided to join a near by pool today so the kids could enjoy swimming during this hot summer. We are also excited about the Friday family night dinners so we can meet other young couples with kids. There are also many other functions throughout the year (oyster roasts, etc.) just for the parents so that will be nice also! The free swimming lessons that he will start next week are also a nice perk! The kids had a blast! I didn't think Holdyn would go down the big circular slide but he did... and not just once.. multiple times!! Sister LOVED swimming and splashing like a little fish and brother swam the entire length of the pool by himself with floaties on!!

Holdyn was sound asleep by time we pulled out of the parking lot. I think everyone will sleep good tonight!
