Bubbles!!

Hadley is sitting here looking at theses pictures saying "Ha Ha BUBBLES!!" (She calls herself HaHa). She is a MESS!! Last night I had to take Holdyn to baseball practice. She loves going, but I hate taking her because of the bugs... they eat her (and me) ALIVE, so if I can leave her home, I usually try to. She was playing outside with HoHo when it was time to leave and she was NOT thrilled that I was leaving and taking HoHo and she wasn't allowed to go. She pitched a major tiny fit! "Day" and the girls (our neighbors... the kids call her 'Day' !!) were outside too, so I guess they pulled out the bubbles to make her happy... and yes she IS running around with no pants on, but since it's acceptable when you're 2, might as well take advantage of it while you can! Some days that's just how we roll! Here are some pictures "Day" just sent me and they are SOOO adorable!!!

My husband who was supposed to be the 'parent' while I was gone, he was caught in the act taking a ride on the pink tricycle!! I just might have to call "Day" and the girls from now on whenever I have to leave.... not to watch my children, but to watch my husband!! He is such a kid!!

Turkey!!!!!!!

With 2 vegetarian children, when my 2 year old was ready for a snack yesterday and was running through the house screaming "TURKEY!! TURKEY!!!" I thought, what in the world did she want??!! Daddy and I had to put our heads together to figure out what 'turkey' really meant....
She wanted some Easter 'peeps'.... ha!! Can't get any cuter than this kid!
She had a purple and a pink one. She usually only takes 1 bite out of each then her hands are "too yucky" and you have to clean her up.... I don't understand it cause she is fine going outside to dig in the mud with her big brother!!
 Peek-A-Boo!!
She usually only eats their head!!

Growing up....

It makes this momma sad that her little boy is growing up. I can't believe he is old enough for baseball. We picked up his uniform yesterday and it kinda made me.... well depressed. I know that sounds stupid. He is so excited to play and he has so much fun, but what happened to that itty bitty baby that seems like just yesterday I was holding in my arms??

He is thrilled that is first 'real' baseball game is Saturday!!
And of course guess what # he picked out for his jersey... same one he picked out for soccer last year!
His team is called "The Hooks"
Look how small and adorable these baseball pants are!! They are a little big on him, but it was the smallest size they make. They are youth XSmall

Adorable...

I think "Adorable" pretty much sums up my kiddos... I am not biased or anything ;)

Holdyn and MooMa sure do know how to build a 'village'!

Totally frame worthy!! That little Hadley has Dooda wrapped tightly around her finger!

Auntie is complaining....

Auntie just called 'whining' saying she was bored and wanted something to read and she wanted me to update the blog. I have about 10 million things going on right now at the same time and I am trying to get at least half of the finsihed by the end of the night, and the last thing on my mind right now is updating the blog! Here is a short, quick recap to please the queen bee!!

Holdyn was up to bat at a scrimmage baseball game yesterday!

Miss Priss!! She is something else!!

Holdyn ran all the bases and made it to home plate!!

Holdyn was SO tired yesterday after his game, that he fell sound asleep in MY bed... on MY side of the bed, so I had to sleep on daddy's side. This morning when he woke up, he thought that was the funniest thing ever!!

Auntie, quit complaining about being bored. Pretty soon you will have your hands full and you will be so busy you won't have time to read my blog!!
Before you know it, you will get to meet sweet little Mathis and bring a sweet tiny little bundle of joy home, just like I did 5.5 years ago with Holdyn and 2.5 years ago with Hadley. They are VERY excited to meet their new baby cousin!! Holdyn wanted to color today. I told him no because we had too many other things to do. His new 'ploy' now is to try to use Mathis' name to get his way. He threw himself on the floor screaming "Well I just wanted to color a pretty picture for baby Mathis so I can take it to him when I take him his clotes he needs to wear!!"  Enjoy the last few weeks of relaxing, sleeping, and peace and quiet before the fun full blown tantrums begin ;)

Poppy's Fault!

Poppy (as Hadley calls Pops for some unknown reason!) kept Hadley for a few hours this week while daddy and I demolished and refurbished a new rental property we just purchased, and we had to get it ready for our new tenants. When I picked her up, she looked a little different than when I dropped her off.......
Her bangs were hanging over her eyes and Poppy said she 'couldn't see' so he took the scissors to her hair!! He claims he didn't mean for it to be so short but he said she was so 'squirmy' and moved so much... and to say they are not even.... well that is just an understatement!! Poppy should NOT quit his day job... wait... how can you quit retirement?! Poppy is banned from the scissors and from hair cutting permanetly... MawMaw about DIED when she came over and saw her that night. If you ask her " What happend to your hair??!!!" She pats her head and said " Poppy did it!!" HAHA!!! She so called him out on it and still will several days later!!

See my tongue?!

Baseball in the Hill!

In Savannah, you were not allowed to play 't-ball' until you turned 5. In Richmond Hill, you can play 't-ball' at age 4. Since last season we lived in Savannah, Holdyn couldn't play. Since we live in Richmond Hill this year, he is too old for the t-ball team so his first year ever playing will be pitched from the coach (pops!) or from a machine. The first practice they had, they used the 'T'.... He had his 2nd practice today and they used the machine. No one hit the ball very far, it was mainly learning to make contact, and HoHo made contact! The upside of having Pops as your coach, and since he missed the whole learning of 't-ball', Pops has been able to spend some extra time with him and 2 of the other boys in our neighborhood who happen to be on Pops team, and go to our neighborhood baseball field for some extra practice.

Holdyn's best friend, Santiago! We live right around the corner from each other, the boys go to school together, and they are on the same baseball team. They love going back and forth between each others house to play during the week after school. Mr. R and I love his parents and have gone out with them several times. His momma stays at home and his daddy is a doctor. We met only because I found their lost little dog one day and I took him home having no clue that the kids would reckognize each other! Amazing how people come together!

Holdyn had a birthday party today then went straight to baseball practice. He was grounded for the afternoon so it made for ONE tiring day and my 'never nap HoHo' passed out for a nice long nap this afternoon!
