Going Private...

For a few reasons it has become necessary that our family blog go 'private'. If you would like to still keep up with us, email me for a password (cudinsky@comcast.net), comment on this post, or become a 'follower' (you don't have to have a blog to be a follower... just click on the button 'become a follower' and you make a name and password..very simple!) and you will still be able to see our blog. I will give it about a week for everyone to get on board and for me to send out passwords to those who want it.

On another note, Holdyn had his Halloween party at school today. He was so excited and had a great time! Daddy got home just in time to go with us so HoHo was VERY excited about that!

Sister and Daddy waiting for the singing performances to begin!

This is Jackson. He and Holdyn will be having their birthday parties together this year. We are having tons of live reptiles so it should be lots of fun! Hope everyone can make it! (Holdyn was very proud how 'messy' he was right here after eating a chocolate cupcake!)

Sister enjoyed the party too and really liked the pineapple!

Daddy was making fun of me that Holdyns little cardboard 'me' person was the most elaborate. Most everyone's was just some scribbling and there is Holdyn's all decked out as a police officer including the handcuffs... see it?! Ok, so maybe I did go a little over board but Holdyn had fun helping me make it the first week of school!

Ms. Jeanine getting all the kids lined up to sing... we love her! She is sooo sweet!

I was very curious if Holdyn would get up with his class and sing. At the mother's day tea he refused to go and climbed under the table. He got right up there with his class, sang all the songs, and did all the hand motions! I was so proud of him! He is the first child on the left.

The kids were not allowed to wear costumes. Everyone brought in a shirt and each class designed their own shirts. They were all so cute and unique! As soon as the party was over, Holdyn ripped his pumpkin shirt off for his fire gear! I was glad they just got it off him in the first place so he could wear his matching pumpkin shirt with the class!

The kids had tons of great food. Lots of cupcakes, candy, goody bags, and fruit so I am sure he will be good and sugared up for our evening of pumpkin carvings!

Rob's 30th!

We have finally concluded the year of the '30's' ! Bob ruined the surprise of our location after yelling in the car "Just put in Jax Beach!!" As we were trying to decide what to put in to the gps. Way to go Bob! He did at least try to entertain us on the way down there!

Michelle and I tried to kept our sanity and stay in the back away from the boys!

Friday night we had plans to cook out at the hotel and have a 'pirate' themed party but we ended up getting on the road so late and got there so late that we had to stop at a restaurant but we still didn't leave the pirate party out!

Birthday Boy!

We all had a good time in the hot tub. We even had birthday cake in the hot tub on the last night we were there!

The walk of shame. Need I say more?! My phone was blowing up on Saturday morning. It was Bob asking me for a ride and to please hurry!

Had an awesome time hanging out by the pool!

Birthday boy didn't want to wear his birthday bowtie but he got so much attention with it on, I'm sure that one of the boys will want to be wearing it on our next outing!

So we decided to wait and get a cake when we got down there so we didn't have to worry about having it in the car (Prime example: A full glass bottle of Vodka fell out of the car and busted all over a gas station parking lot!) We went in to this publix in Jax Beach and every single cake had flowers all over it. Seriously. E-V-E-R-Y single one. So 'bob' had to have a 30th cake with flowers!

We had a great time, and had the only hotel room on the 1st floor that had direct access off of our balcony to the pool and bar. Everyone else had to walk through the hotel to get to the pool. Don't know how we pulled that one off but it was very nice!

Wordless Wednesday

Aunties Wedding

Auntie has been whining, yes... whining, that I have not posted about her wedding yet. I do admit that I am very late in posting it, but better late than never, right?! Auntie and Uncle Fireman Joe (that is what Holdyn calls him) got married on September 4th. The night before the wedding we had a low country boil at our house for 64... yes 64 people. We had a blast! Afterwards a few of us went downtown to Savannah Smiles and had sooo much fun. It was kinda wierd partying with some of my aunts and uncles though! Not something we do every weekend!

Some of the crew at Savannah Smiles

Why was I in the balcony taking pictures, you ask. Well I was hiding. Yes, hiding. Auntie's one wish for her wedding was for Holdyn to walk her down the aisle with my dad. We talked it up for weeks and even had a bribe of 2 brand new gold fish that he had been wanting if he did his 'job'. He was on board with it, but as his mommy and knowing him in and out, I knew good and well he wouldn't do it if I was anywhere near by. I 'disappeard' about an hour before the wedding and walaaa... look who walked auntie down the aisle! He stood up there like a big little man while the preacher was starting the service then he went and sat with Pops and MawMaw. He looked so handsome in his tux!

Now maybe Auntie can stop whining ;)

Parental Warning

As a parent, you have a lot of decisions to make for your child. Whether it be from the brand of diapers, food, clothing, formula, soap, toys, swings, car seat, stroller, bouncer, etc. It can be an overwhelming daunting task! We have always used Gerber. No reason in particular. Just knew it was a well known company and had a large selection for their foods and snacks. We have been purchasing Gerber food products since Holdyn was born in November of 2006. When Hadley arrived in December of 2009, we just went with Gerber again, not even questioning it.

During our evening routine, I put Hadley in her high chair while I am cooking dinner for Holdyn. To keep her occupied until I have time to sit down and feed her, I always give her cheerios, puffs, cereal bars, or her frozen teethers. Monday night, I choose her cereal bars to give to her. They contain 6 bars in each box. She had previously had consumed 2 of the bars several days before so I grabbed another one out of the box. I ripped open the package and immediately felt something crawling up my arm. I freaked out and SCREAMED at the top of my lungs!! I threw the wrapper down and started chasing the ROACH knowing this was a huge deal that this thing was in my childs cereal bar wrapping. I can't stand roaches but I had to grab his leg to hold on to him and I was screaming for Holdyn to get me a cup. I put the cup over the roach to contain him to figure out what to do. I went back to the packing and in one of the corners was a pile of little black dots. I got a paper towel and dumped the little dots out which were... feces. Yes feces in my childs food!! I stopped right there, picked up the phone and called Gerber. After the man apologized (even though he did not seem too concerned at all) he asked did I have the roach and feces. I told him yes. I counted out the feces for him while we were on the phone. TWENTY ONE feces was the total. Yes, 21. The Gerber employee said he would mail me a label to put on a box and for me to send him the roach, feces, and any of the left over bars and original box they came in. Sure I will be happy to do that. Here is the kicker though. He said, "Oh and I will include a coupon so you can go buy another cereal bar box for free". ARE YOU KIDDING ME????!!!! You think I want to buy those again?! Um no thank you! I asked him did I need to contact the store where I purchased it from and he said no, that Gerber would call them. As of last night the product was still on the shelf and the store had not heard from Gerber yet. Um.. what are they waiting on?! Waiting 3 plus days knowing roaches and feces are in your product and you have not even notified the public yet? Like I said, the guy seemed like it was no big deal and was just excited to send me a coupon for me to go purchase a 'free' box of the same product. He must have been smoking crack, or maybe he doesn't have kids. Maybe he wants to eat a feces/roach infested cereal bar. Who knows but I am not purchasing the same product where feces were located in it.

Can we say NASTY!

You can't really see by the picture vut the experation date is May 2, 2011
The numbers under the experation date are 04858 0122S12SC

If you have this product in your home, PLEASE get rid of it immediately or call Gerber!

Both news stations in our town came and interviewed us today and they were headed to the store as soon as they left my house and they were calling Gerber today. One station said she wouldn't be surprised if this ended up on CNN or HLN. They are going to get the word out there to get this product off the shelf until it's checked out and make sure that it is safe. Sad that you have to go to those links to make sure your children are not consuming feces. Sadly knowing that Gerber obviously didn't take action after a concerned parent calling. Both news stations said they will keep me posted so we will see what happens.

Just wanted to let all of the mommys and daddys to be aware and if you have any of the Gerber cereal bars to please through them away ASAP!

Here is the link from both of the news stations:

Officer Udinsky

Reporting for Duty!

Gotta make sure the tie is straight!

The King has arrived!!!

The King bed has finally arrived! I don't know how we ever survived without it. Robbie was sad to see his bachelor furniture to find a new home, but he will get over it! It's so nice when Holdyn crawls in the bed every morning when it's still dark outside and now Robbie or I don't get kicked out. There is room for everyone now and I am sure sister will be joining us before long!

This is before.....

And this is after!!

And here is the king bed! Ahhh!! Please excuse the laundry on the bed. I was in the middle of hanging it up. We have 2 beautiful night stands coming that I am sooo excited about but they won't be in until November!

Forsyth Park

Holdyn pretending to 'sleep' ! LOL.. he is too funny!

Last week we took Hyres to the vet for his shots. He weighs 20lbs now! He was only 13lbs when we got him! He is a growing boy!

Since we were downtown we decided to head to Forsyth park so Holdyn could play on the big playground and Hyres could run around the park.

Hyres kept stopping to smell poles so Holdyn said he needed to smell the poles too. He said they smelt good. Weird kid!

October 15th..

October 15th is national pregnancy loss and infant/child loss awareness day. Please remember those who have lost those sweet babies. Remembering today our baby bean that passed away on March 1, 2009 and thinking of sweet baby Cohen's parents today and they just recently lost their miracle baby. Also, remembering baby Ewan today.

Give your sweet babies extra hugs today. I am so thankful for these two little ones.

My latest....

How cute are these?!

Have no fear....

 Cindy is here!!!!!!

Blogger wouldn't let me upload anything for a few days due to the 'cookies' on the computer. Thanks to Mr. R it is all fixed now! I have missed a few things this week. We have been getting ready for Halloween/Fall, and sister will be 10 months old in just 3 days. Where in the world has the time gone?!

Sweet sister is pulling up and standing on everything. She is putting everything in her mouth that she can find. I don't remember Holdyn being this bad putting things in his mouth. I find the most random things in her mouth! Fire hats, dog food, pretend walkie talkies, you name it, she will eat it!
We have had some pretty cool mornings this week. We are excited to be playing outside and most of the humidity is gone now! Yay!
