Soccer 2012
I am so excited that fall is right around the corner! We are dealing with the horrid gnats right now, but they will soon be gone and the crisp, cool, fall air, leaves changing colors, and pumpkins will surround us!
Holdyn just recently started the soccer season for this year. His first game was on Thursday. He is #5 again... he was SO excited about that! He was #5 last year in soccer and in t-ball! He made THREE goals in the first game! He has a MUCH better coach this year than last year, and it's a lot more of learning than just running around chasing each other on the field. It's going to be a great season!
Water break time!
Holdyn and one of his best friends, Britton, who lives right around the corner from us!
Some of the younger sibilings were on the sidelines playing games.... on IPhones!! Wow... times have really changed!! We didn't have cell phones when I was that little! Sad thing is, these 2 and 3 year olds know how to work them on their own.... sometimes better than mom and dad...HA!
Cuteness!
An overload of cuteness for your Wednesday!
Hadley refused to take a nap the other day. She fought it and kepts saying "I no tired!!" Well, snack time came around......
and let's just say she didn't make it through her meal!
She has randomly been doing silly faces. I don't know where she is learning them... maybe at school. She was laying in bed last night showing off some of her new 'faces'... probably trying to delay bedtime!!
Today was 'School picture day'!! She looked so cute/pretty! She is right in between the stage of toddler and child... It's fun watching her grow through each stage. With each new stage, usually brings lots of fun 'phases' and some NOT so fun 'phases' !!! I am noticing a difference between raising a girl and raising a boy. It's fun... but sometimes exhausting!!!

Wounded Warriors
I am SO far behind on the blog, I am going to have to do some back tracking this week. Tonight (or this morning I should say since it's almost 1am) will be a quick update! We hosted the Wounded Warriors Fishing Tournament today. We had the Wounded Warrior Family Day last weekend. I will update on that and post some pictures later on.
Robbie likes to call himself the '1st mate' !! He and Lee make a great team. With a lot of struggle and annoyance from my husband, I finally got out of bed this morning so we could be there on time at 6am.
The soliders that went with Robbie and Lee... take a good look at them now.. they will look a little different when they get back!! HA!!
By 7:38am (yes... we knew the exact time and were pretty proud... and exhausted!!) We had 49 boats loaded with 104 soliders off the dock and out in the water!
The bar opened at 7:39am for the last few that were left behind helping. Free bloody marys for all!!
Yes, Sea Tow had to be called. It got to be over an hour past the time boats had to be back in and there were 2 off shore boats missing. With some quick teamwork, they were contacted to know everyone was safe, and they were about 40minutes-1hour off shore and headed back in. I guess they were having too much fun but there were a few wives that were nervous nellies and were in complete panic mode until we got radio contact with the boats!
The good ole mayor of Richmond Hill!
Robbie and Lee arrived back and I see the 2 soldiers (or clowns maybe?!) posing...
Like they were on the Titanic boat or something... seriously!!
They then stopped their posing and I thought to myself "These ding bats are going to dive off the boat...
Oh you guessed it! Frick and Frack dove right in! They swam to the dock and I helped pull one guy out while someone else helped the other guy. Not 2 seconds later I turned around and they BOTH jumped back in the water!! I could have strangled them! There is no ladder to get on the dock and it was not easy helping him get up on shore! They tried to climb in the boat but they kept falling off... finally they got back on board.
They caught some pretty fish!
I was walking back up on the dock and Lee and Robbie already parked the boat and were up at the stage where they were weighing all the fish in. I turn around and look and Frick and Frack were on the parked boat once again doing flips off the boat in the water! They told me I should have seen them jumping off the boat in the middle of the ocean. Needless to say, one of them slipped up and told me they consumed all the beer they brought, all but 2 that Robbie brought, and all but 3 that Lee brought.... like I couldn't have figured that out on my own!! Everyone got sick on the boat...except for Lee!
Good ole Danny Bryant! I have known him since we moved here in 2001. Nicest man you will ever meet. He would give you the shirt off his back in a heart beat.
Lee and Robbie!
Perry called me around 3 and said "Hey if I get a ride down there, will you bring me home??!!" Sure Perry.... Come on down!!
Gotta love these 2!!
We had a great day but we were all exhausted!!
Feeling the love from Mark Gordon!! He owns Gordon's tow trucks... If you ever break down, you know who to call :)

Pretty Princess!
The dirt, bugs, mud, firetrucks, and construction site talk are on hold momentarily for a pretty princess update since she actually let me take some pictures of her today!! Hadley is SO busy these days, and letting me take her picture is on the very bottom of her priority list! I haven't put up many pictures of her lately, but honestly, she won't slow down long enough for me to take her picture, or if she sees the camera, she runs the other way or will refuse to look at me. Gotta love the 2 year old stage!
She had her 1st ballet class today. I wasn't sure how she would respond, but I knew since she has adjusted very well to pre-school 2 days a week, I figured this wouldn't be too bad. It also helped that one of her best friends, Caroline, is in the class with her. Caroline lives in our neighborhood and has a brother Holdyn's age so they all get to play together a lot, and their mommy is one of my dear sweet friends! Hadley was proud to model her ballet uniform before we went to class this morning.
Yes, it might be monogrammed.... It's adorable regardless what my husband thinks!!
I told her to show me a ballerina pose and this is what she did.... Too cute for words! Love this little girl!
The parents didn't get to stay in the room and watch the class. A group of 2 and 3 year olds listen and act much better when mom and dad aren't in sight! At the end of the class all the kids walked out one by one... except Hadley. The teacher came out and asked who did the little girl that wouldn't come out of the room belong to. HA!! She was just standing in the middle of the room and refused to leave the room until she saw us! LOL!! She finally ran to us and was SO excited! She told me this afternoon, "Mommy, I go to baawayyyy AGAIN!!" I think she had a great time! She will go once a week for 30 minutes :)
Speaking of Caroline, her big brother, Britton had his birthday party this afternoon. We were a little late since Holdyn's bus broke down on the way home from school, but we finally made it, and my child that has no fear what so ever lived on the large inflatable slides!!
She convinced daddy to go up with her!! I think he would have gone down the slide regardless if he had a kid with him or not! Some days I really do have 3 children...not 2!!
They slid down so fast, the picture was blurry!!! I think daddy had just as much fun as Hadley did!
She had a blast and didn't want to leave. She kept telling me "I pay just ONE more minute!!" Her famous sentence that I hear 12,345,874 times a day!!

Energizer Bunny
At the rate we have been going around here, we need a visit from the energizer bunny!! Between school starting, homework, and trying to squeeze in last minute summer fun, we have been on the go!
Robbie and I went deep sea fishing last weekend with another guy in our fishing club and he is also one of our neighbors. I was semi-excited until they told me what time we would be leaving.... This is the sunRISE from that day... not the sunSET!!!
It was a BIG boat with some BIG motors!
Look at this little guy!! He was so cute but not big enough to keep so he got to go back in the ocean with his mommy and daddy (This was about the biggest... and only thing... Robbie caught that day! HA!)
No, you do not need to have your eyes examined... Look at the big King Mackerel I caught... Yes... I reeled it in myself. Kind of a shocker, I know...but I did it! We had a portion of him for dinner last night and he was DELICIOUS!! We can easily make 4 meals out of him!
For labor day, we headed out on the boat to St. Catherine's island to have some fun in the sun with some friends. They were acting silly!
Hadley getting some sugar from "AK". Hadley loves having her own boat. She says "MY bug boat!!"
Holdyn loves his "AK"... he was all over him and really had a fun time spending the day with him.
Loving on "AK"!!
We packed up ship and headed back in shore right before a big storm hit. We made it just in the nick of time!
Nights out with friends...
We only have a few more weeks of warm water so we plan to take full advantage of it! We have the wounded warrior fishing tournament and dinner coming up next weekend so we will be busy little bees, then hopefully we can slow down a bit :)
