April Fools

I am a little behind posting but I will try to get caught up this week! I usually try to update when Holdyn is at school but with him being off for spring break the past week, we have been busy 'fighting fires' and arresting the 'bad guy'. For April Fools this year, Patrick, Robert, and myself pulled a little joke on Robbie. Since Robbie was in California working for the week, we went to the airport with his spare set of keys and moved his truck around the corner to a different parking spot. We then filled his truck up with 160+ balloons. We had a good time but we all lost a lot of air that day! We were going to leave it at that, but then the idea came up of, well wouldn't it be funny if we were there when he landed to see his reaction. So Friday morning the boys and I got up extra early and headed to the airport. We hid my car and Robert hid nearby with a video camera so he could see Robbie walking out of the airport. Patrick and I hid by his truck behind someone elses vehicle. We were all calm, cool, and collected until Robbie kept pushing the unlock button on his truck and the truck started 'beeping' as he was looking for it. Patrick lost it then, and fell over laughing like a little school girl which in turn got me laughing. We also had a video camera and all got to watch his reaction as he started popping all of the balloons. We then came out of hiding and helped him clean up the mess. I have a feeling that everyone will be hunkered down at home and hiding next year around this time!
