For Lucy....

I was holding Holdyn yesterday during one of his multiple 'melt downs' he has a day. I was holding him and he was snuggling up against me trying to calm down. This sweet little boy looked straight in to my eyes, out of the blue, and said.............

"Mommy, "

"I am going to be YOUR little boy..... FOREVER!!!" 

He is a momma's boy. He knows how to make my heart melt.

After he said that, I immediately thought of Lucy and I hadn't posted about Lucy yet. It's amazing in the 'blogging world' how you feel a connection to each other. I feel like I 'know' these familys I keep up with and read about on a daily basis, and they read about my family on a daily basis. Lucy's world (and her parents and sibilings) has been flipped upside down. In a matter of seconds. It really puts things in to perspective... again. Never take things for granted. You never know what the next year, the next month, the next week, the next day, the next hour, the next minute, or the next second has in store for you.

Be thankful....

for everything in life.... no matter how big or small.

Please send some extra thoughts and prayers to Lucy and her family. I couldn't imagine being in her mother's shoes right now.
