Forsyth Park

Yesterday morning, the kids and I both had a severe case of 'houseitis'. We HAD to get out of this house before one of us had a meltdown. We usually head to Lake Meyer to feed the ducks but the playground there is flat out disguisting so I decided to take them to the new playground and water fountain at Forsyth Park.

He loved riding the duck and said it was so fast but he said the pelican was too big for him.

Playing is rough. Holdyn needed to refuel with a snack and some juice.

After snack he said, "I am soooo tired. I need to take a little rest."

He ran and starting picking up some of the big leaves and he said " These leaves are for you mommy, for Mother's Day!" How sweet is that little boy?!

Sister enjoyed being a people watcher!

I think the most exciting event of the morning was getting to watch the cement mixer in action. He stood motionless literally for 30 minutes watching its every move.
