What a week

I don't even know where to begin. Some weeks we have calm, good, predictable weeks. Other weeks, if one thing happens or goes wrong, it seems everything likes to come crashing down all in the same week! Well this week was one of *those* weeks! It all began on Tuesday. I woke up to find my entire stomach covered in what looked like chicken pox. I knew it wasn't because it wasn't on my whole body, but still it was very odd! Concerned it might have something to do with the caterpillar incident 2 days before, I decided I should go get checked out. Packed up both kids and we headed out the door. After the doctor determined it was an allergic reaction to *something* that bit me, I got a nice tetnus shot, an antibiotic and left the office with the doctors parting words "You really need to look in to getting a double stroller". Maybe he wants to push 50lbs through small door ways, rude people who won't hold open doors for you while struggling to push the stroller in, much less trying to fit a stroller in to a small cramped room in a doctors office! I do really need to get one soon though for our park and mall outings. After we got home Holdyn decided Bay needed ice in her water bowl because "firedogs like ice cold water". He brings her bowl to the fridge (after spilling about half of the water out on the floor along the way), sets the bowl on the floor, then pushes the water and ice button which sends ice and water flying all over the floor. The fridge access has been banned! After that, the genius that owns land near us set several things on fire then left. We ended up having to call the fire department to get it under control. Well don't you know that just thrilled my little fireman!! I took him outside for an up close look but he was so amazed he was just speechless and all he could do was stare! We headed back up the side walk and low and behold a huge snake made himself comfortable on our front door mat!! No way was I going near that thing! I waited until the firemen had the fire under control then I nicely asked them to remove the snack since they were there and I was not about to touch that thing! Wednesday morning as we were walking out the door to take Holdyn to school, the washing machine started spewing water everywhere. Not just a nice small little trickle. Oh no, it was more like projecting it across the room. I told Holdyn to run grab me a towel while I was shoving dirty clothes under it trying to get it to stop. He comes back with 2 squares of toilet paper.... hey he tried! During nap time Holdyn snuck in to the pantry and got the brand new box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts out and feed TEN doughnuts to Baily. After consulting with the vet, they said she would be just fine. While changing baby sisters diaper, he got scissors, cut open the brand new bag of dog food and was trying his hardest to pour it in to her food container. On Thursday I woke up to Holdyn having poured an entire brand new bottle of shampoo in his sink and turning the water on. As bubbles are overflowing down his cabinet and on to the floor he said " But my toys were so dirty I had to wash them mommy". *SIGH* I told Robbie I was so close to dropping him off at Calvary for the day and letting Ms. Ashley deal with him cause momma needed a break! After cleaning all that up I decided to get dressed and head out to run our errands. Big Mistake. Holdyn got a pot, filled it with water, dumped a whole bag of pasta into the pot and pulled his stool over to put it on the stove. Thank goodness he couldn't reach to turn the stove on. I then found a stack of pasta under baby sisters bouncer. He claims he was just sharing with her. I then found pasta in a pot with a whole slew of firemen and rocks (that are also firemen-says Holdyn). He said he was cooking them for his dinner. I also found pasta in a gatorade bottle. *Note to Self* Get dressed faster next time! After catching him this afternoon trying to feed Bay teddy grahams, and tonight I caught him feeding her chips (when they both are supposed to be sleeping!), mommy has bought a lock for the pantry that daddy bear will be installing this weekend! Tonight after putting the kids to bed, I caught the washer projecting water again. Maybe that's a sign I should never do laundry again! Thank goodness daddy comes home tomorrow. Momma can't take much more!

My toys are all clean now mommy!

He now finally gets the point

He was so proud

I was just sharing with sister, mom!
