I bet you are asking yourself, "What in the world is that tiny object high up in the tree?" Well let's zoom in a little closer and you will see it is not so tiny.
It is Holdyn's very large beach bucket. "How did his beach bucket get stuck in the tree?" you ask yourself... Well very simple let me explain......
Do you see the red circle in the center of the picture? That would be Holdyn's brand new remote control helicopter that Auntie just sent him. The day before this he flew the helicopter in to our neighbors yard and it landed in their POOL!!! I just knew it was dead and it had only had it for 2 days. I decided to attempt the ole tried and true method of soaking the helicopter in rice overnight. Robbie told me that I was crazy and it wasn't going to work. Well it couldn't hurt anything, so I decided to be stubborn and at least give it a shot! Well guess what... the next morning we got up and Holdyn ran right to the helicopter and low and behold the next thing I knew it was flying around my living room! He was squealing in delight! Daddy told him he had to fly it outside so it wouldn't crash the helicopter in to anything inside and break something. He listened and went outside and the poor little guy (still learning how to control it and manuever it) Got it stuck WAY up in a tree (and that picture is zoomed all the way in!) Daddy tried for over an hour throwing anything he could find up there trying to get it to fall. Sticks, bricks, beach buckets, etc. Well the beach bucket got stuck too!! At least the helicopter has some company!! We are on day 2 now hoping for some strong wind to bring it crashing to the ground. If we can save it from the bottom of the swimming pool, we HAVE to be able to save it from the top of a pine tree!! Holdyn is hoping a squirrell will come along and knock it down. If it never comes down, Auntie did call tonight and said she will be buying him a new one. He will be excited to call her in the morning and I will let her tell him the news!!!
Until then, he is keeping busy digging in the dirt. We just had a huge rain storm and it made tons of puddles and holes so his dump trucks, tractors, diggers, and back hoes have been very busy the past few days!
