He found his desk in the classroom. The room has tables with 4 children at each table! He thought it was 'cool' to have his own little space that was just his size.
He is pretty excited about going to school. He is already asking a lot of questions about "Do I have to stay for lunch everyday?" yes Holdyn, you do... "Well, why?" Oh dear! Last year in Pre-K he got out at 11:45 if he came home for lunch or he could stay until 12:45 if he brought his lunch. I don't think he really understands the concept that this is going to be all day. He claims he will be riding the bus. I am going to take him the first day, and then we will give the bus a trial run and see if he likes it and if that is what he really wants to do. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself without him all day. I am proud to see him grow up, but on the other hand, it DOES make this momma sad how fast her baby boy is growing up!
Hadley was still napping (She didn't wake up until 5:30!!!) so she didn't get any pictures. She is going to have to adjust her schedule too and start taking naps eariler so she will get up earlier so she can go to bed earlier to get up early in the morning! I don't like the sound of all this 'morning' talk... Neither of my kids are morning people!! Hadley will start her little program on Tuesday and go 2 days a week for half days. She really needs this for socialization and to learn how to share with kids her own age and to be away from me for a little bit each week. She has been horrible about sharing and has been glued to be me lately. The leach is gonna have to give this momma a little break!
